I absolutely hate gels except for the All Weather Styling Gel but, as much as I love it, that one is just not strong enough for where I live. This one, I've never used anything like it! Absolute water texture that doesn't make my hair feel gross at all, but with an insane hold. Thank you so much for taking the time you did to perfect this!

Back in lockdown in 2020, I started wearing my hair curly for the very first time. Since I was stuck at home, no one could laugh at the bird’s nest taking over my head! Very slowly.....after years and years of relentless straighteners....the curls started to appear. It was an arduous task, to say the least.

My curl pattern is completely wild and odd (very tight, almost afro-textured at the nape of my neck, but long and loose at the crown). Styling was always an absolute task, and getting it to sit in a nice, cohesive shape felt almost impossible.

Since then, I’ve worn it curly on and off, but I’d ultimately revert back to the blow-dry and straighteners. I just never felt like my curls suited me....they were always bushy, crispy, or stringy, and no two days ever looked the same. I’d wake up to that bird’s nest all over again, spend an absolute eon styling it to look just "OK," and by the end of the day? A big old mess of frizz. More often than not, it just ended up scraped back in a bun.

I have invested... and I mean INVESTED HEAVILY... in products. All of them from high street brands to high-end luxury. Some worked better than others, but none were enough for me to actually like my hair.

Then came this...

I ummed and aahed for so long. Did I really want to buy another "wonder" product? In the end, the online before-and-after photos and glowing reviews finally swayed me.

Well... let me tell you: I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and WOW, just wow.

The definition! The ease of styling with just the right amount of "slip"! The total lack of frizz....even after a full day out in the wind, and even when waking up on day three! It brings all my different curl patterns together effortlessly into a shape I actually love. My hair has been nowhere near a bun since I started using it, and I have zero intention of reaching for the straighteners.

My hair finally feels like it belongs to me. These are MY curls, and deep down I always knew they were there... Toolab just helped me finally discover them. Thank you!

I began my curly hair journey three years ago, and like so many others, I've been struggling to find products that work for my shortish, thick, wavy hair. Too soft, too crunchy, too stinky, too drying, too thick, too thin . . . . I've had my high hopes in products dashed countless times. I began following Gaia on IG, admiring her no-nonsense, down to earth approach, and found help with the basics, but was reluctant to spring the (slightly larger) bucks on her hair gel. WHELP! Once again, Gaia did not steer me wrong! Great definition day after day, fresh smell, soft, healthy, bouncy hair. LOVING this gel and eager to try the brand-new Tootilab Styling Water for a bit stronger hold on my soft waves. Most definitely a believer here in Pennsylvania, USA!! My fingers have been my only brush for years. I thought I’d try this brush and love it. I only use it on wet hair, otherwise I’m a frizz ball!

Really wonderful products for my 2C hair. They leave my hair defined without being heavy, and keep the frizz away.

Super light on my fine hair and only three products is a winner! I get 4/5 days from a wash day and my hair feels and looks fab!

This is a game changer. I love that I get soft hold, that it holds up in the rain, and doesnt require blow-drying to work!

This has become my go to Gel. It has coped very will with the mad humidity we have had in the UK this summer, and on holiday in Italy. After a bit of trial and error initially I have discovered I needed to use a bit more than a dime sized amount and on soaking hair, first problem was having no clue how big a dime is! Perhaps use a UK coin size as an example?
Its easy to refresh and currently on day 5 curls, so very happy

Great products for my textured hair

I left a review after I’d initially used the gel styling product giving it only 3 stars, as I felt my curls were not supported enough after the first day, they just kind of ‘dropped’. I thought this product would end up going the way of sooo many other curly products over the years, left untouched on a shelf.
BUT - although I think my curls could do with a bit more hold, this is the only product I’ve used that keeps frizz at bay over a number of days between washes. It keeps my hair feeling soft and because there is less frizz, it just looks better. Also very impressed by only having to dampen it down in between washes if necessary and the crunch comes back a bit (ready for de-crunching once it’s dry!).
I think I might be a convert!
I’ll see how it copes once the torrential rain starts this Autumn 🤞

The gel and the leave-in are great. I would like the gel to block the humidity a bit more on rainy days.

This product is wonderful. My curls were perfect in my Caribbean vacation.

I have spent years in search of good curl products, this styling bundle is the best I have found! Gives great soft defined curls, it’s easy to apply and I love that it reactivates so well in the following days with just a spray of water. I have only been using it a few weeks and each time as I get used to the best amount to use for my hair, the results get better. I’m a very happy customer!

Got swayed by my socials to try the styling products, I’m so glad I took a chance. I have pretty loose curls and always wet each morning, apply product and air dry. With this product I’ve been able to go 3 days before a refresh and barely any frizz (to say that in the Atlanta Humidity is truly life changing).

I've been styling my hair curly for about 2 years. I've tried numerous styling products after my favourite caused an allergic reaction. None had given me the results that my favourite had given me. My fine hair doesn't hold curls well overnight, even when using a sleep bonnet. I have to refresh daily by wetting most of my hair and diffusing dry. My hair would always go frizzy when refreshing and my hair would feel dry and crunchy, even after scrunching when dry. With Tootilab All Weather Gel, my hair is just as soft as day 1, on days 2,3 and 4 and there is no halo of frizz. My scalp doesn't react to the gel either.
The only was this could be improved for me would be if the gel was a stronger hold. I imagine the results on very curly hair would be amazing, but on my fine hair it would be nice not to have to refresh every day.

Your products (all of them) work great on my hair. Best shampoo and gel hands down. I continue to wish for a stronger holding gel.

I love this gel it’s the only one that give consistent results and I’ve tried a lot pricey but lasts a long time

Love this product. The real test was going on holiday as my hair is not humid friendly and is like a frizz ball. I can honestly say first time ever been on holiday and have defined curls. To me it’s a winner!!

decided to give s try to 3 new brands in June, ended up ordering Tootilab in July. I just stop experimenting, nothing even comes close to Tootilab
