WHAT IT IS
It’s a gentle, everyday cleanser that strikes the perfect balance between actually cleaning your scalp and not drying your hair out.

All curl types from waves to coils. Suitable for both frequent washes and more spaced out routines.
HOW TO USE IT
Squish a generous dollop of product and apply it evenly to your scalp. Gently massage for a couple of minutes, then rinse thoroughly, running the suds through your lengths. Follow with conditioner.
WHAT NO ONE TELLS YOU
Curly hair shampoos don’t foam as much as regular ones, because they are designed to be more gentle. If you need a deeper cleanse, shampoo twice.

HOW TO USE IT
On soaking wet hair, take a generous blob of shampoo and apply it to your scalp in sections, making sure every area is covered. There’s no need to apply it to the lengths.
Once applied, use your fingertips to vigorously shake and massage the roots to work up a rich lather. If needed, repeat for a second wash.
If you're struggling to reach every area, especially if you have a lot of hair density, shampoo in sections to make sure you cleanse your whole scalp.

Is this safe for colour-treated hair?
Yes, this shampoo contains very gentle cleansers and has a low pH, so it's safe to use on colour-treated hair.
How often should I use this shampoo?
It can depend on many variables - particularly your scalp type and lifestyle. We have designed this formula to be as gentle as possible, so you could even use it daily if necessary. Do not wait more than 7-10 days between one shampoo and the other - your scalp needs regular cleansing!
Can I just use the conditioner without the shampoo?
Short answer: no. Shampooing your hair is CRUCIAL for its long-term wellbeing. Ignore what social media trends are telling you, and make sure you're washing your hair regularly!
Why is the shampoo not foaming?
If you find your shampoo isn't foaming a lot, it might be due to product buildup on your scalp. Shampoo twice to make sure you remove all the debris - the second time around you'll see a lot more foam!
Can I double cleanse with this shampoo?
Of course! Double cleansing is a great technique to make sure you're removing all dirt and buildup from your scalp.
Is this a clarifying shampoo?
No. This is a moisturising, all-purpose shampoo. We still recommend clarifying your scalp every 4-5 washes to really make sure you get rid of all buildup.
Does it contain proteins?
No, this product is protein-free.
Does it contain Sulfates, Silicones or Parabens?
No, this product doesn't contain any sulfates, silicones or parabens.
Is it Curly Girl Friendly?
