If your hair is crunchy after you’ve dried it, don't worry, that’s a good sign! It means that your style has been locked in place, so it will last longer and have less frizz. The crunch is just temporary. Once the hair is dry, gently scrunch it to break the cast and turn it soft and bouncy again.

Simple Instructions
Use on soaking wet hair. Smooth it on your curls until they are evenly coated. A little goes a long way. Start with a dime-size and add more if needed, until the hair feels a little slimy. Gently scrunch to help curls spring up, then diffuse or air dry. After the hair is fully dry, scrunch again to break the crunchy cast and reveal soft, bouncy and defined results.

Fully recyclable and made of 100% recycled ocean bound plastic collected by the Prevented Ocean Plastic™ programme. They work with bottle collectors in areas where the coastline is at risk of ocean plastic pollution, to give waste a value and create economic benefits for individuals and local communities.
Easily recyclable with the bottle without needing to peel it off first. It's upcycled from 99% bio-based byproducts that would otherwise go to waste, such as used cooking oil. The production process of this material uses 85% less energy than traditional labels and 9% less CO2.
Unfortunately, our caps are not that special. Our suppliers are working on making them with ocean bound plastic as well, but the technology is not quite there yet, so we had a little setback. For now, they are made with virgin PP plastic, but they are still fully recyclable. Watch this space!

FAQs
Will it make my hair crunchy?
Yes, but that's what you need! Crunch is CRUCIAL for curl definition. It's what sets the curls in place and gives you a style that lasts for multiple days. But don't worry, it's only temporary. Once your hair is fully dry, you just need to gently scrunch it to release the cast and reveal soft, bouncy curls.
How much gel should I use?
It can depend on many variables - particularly your hair density and its length. We always recommend to start with a dime size per section, and add more as you go until you feel that your hair is a bit slimy. That's when you know you've applied enough!
Is it better on wet or damp hair?
We always recommend applying all your leave-in products on soaking wet hair. The water helps spread them more evenly so you'll get a more consistent result without over-applying.
What's the best way to apply it?
There are many techniques, but the best for beginners is to rake it through the hair, from root to tip, and then scrunch to help curls spring up. If it's not evenly applied, you will not have consistent results.
I have sensory overload, can I use it?
Of course! If slimy textures give you discomfort, there are a few tips to mitigate it.
- apply the product using gloves
- keep a robe on during application and until your hair is dry, so it never touches your back
- prefer diffusing to air drying, so the sensation will disappear a lot quicker
Does it contain Sulfates, Silicones or Parabens?
No, this product doesn't contain any sulfates, silicones or parabens.
Is it Curly Girl Friendly?
Yes, all our products can be used if you follow the Curly Girl Method.
Used today for the first time .Its ages since I’ve used a gel on its own but this has left my hair soft,not frizz free however but I will try using more next time ( I erred on the side of caution) But so far its good .Would like to try more of the products if they did trial/travel size

I am surprised at how well this works. My hair didn’t get hard and crunchy as much as I thought it would! It makes my curls so defined. So glad I found it!
During the past year, I had convinced myself that nothing less than a strong-hold gel and hair spray could keep my curls intact for more than a day. So I was initially rathe reticent to give a medium hold gel a try, and let me tell you: I am a changed woman.
Not only do I use significantly less product, but I got impressive long-lasting results from day 1. In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention, that I normally use the gel together with leave-in cream and brush style it, because my hair is just too brittle without applying the cream.
The hair in the picture was styled using only the gel, and it turned out just as well as with the leave-in, but brush styling was kind of a pain this way.
I started out with several doubts, but became a full on convert after only a few uses.
