WHAT IT IS
It’s a rich yet lightweight leave-in conditioner designed to bring moisture and softness back to dry curls, enhancing their natural texture and helping improve curl retention.
WHO IS IT FOR
All types of curls, waves and coils. It's perfect for hair that needs extra moisture and nourishment, especially dry, coarser textures, but it's also suitable for fine hair (just use less!).
HOW TO USE IT
Use on soaking wet hair. Rake through your curls thoroughly until they are evenly coated. Start with a dime-sized amount and add more if needed. Follow with your favourite styling gel for long-lasting hold and definition!
WHAT NO ONE TELLS YOU
Leave-in conditioners are not styling products! They provide softness and moisture, but on their own they won’t give much definition and frizz control. Always pair it with a styling gel to make your curls last for longer.

HOW TO USE IT
Make sure your hair is soaking wet before applying the cream. The extra water helps spread it evenly through your hair.
Always start with a small amount - the formula is really concentrated so a little goes a long way! Rub the cream between your palms to emulsify before applying it.
Rake through your hair making sure every curl is evenly coated. Add more if needed until the hair feels evenly smooth.
Cream and gel are a match made in heaven to give your curls both moisture and definition. Apply your gel over the leave-in, then scrunch to encourage your curls to form.

FAQs
Does everyone need a leave-in?
No, not necessarily. The Soft Leave-in Cream has been formulated to be lightweight enough to work even on finer hair types, but if your hair is very easily weighed down you might do better by using the All Weather Styling Gel on its own.
How much cream should I use?
It can depend on many variables - particularly your hair density and its length. We always recommend to start with a dime size per section, and add more as you go until you feel that your hair is a bit slimy. That's when you know you've applied enough!
I have sensory overload, can I use it?
Of course! If slimy textures give you discomfort, there are a few tips to mitigate it.
- apply the product using gloves
- keep a robe on during application and until your hair is dry, so it never touches your back
- prefer diffusing to air drying, so the sensation will disappear a lot quicker
Will this keep my hair frizz free?
Leave-in conditioners like this one are designed to moisturise and soften the hair, prepping it for the use of styling product. While it's true that moisturised hair will look less frizzy, this result won't last for long without the help of a styling product. Always pair it with the All Weather Styling Gel for long-lasting definition.
Does it contain proteins?
This product doesn't contain traditional hydrolised proteins, but it has two ingredients with a similar function:
- our curl enhancer is derived from chickpea water, so it is naturally rich in peptides and amino-acids
- our hydration booster is a protein-mimicking active, which gives similar benefits without the risk of protein overload
Does it contain Sulfates, Silicones or Parabens?
No, this product doesn't contain any sulfates, silicones or parabens.
Is it Curly Girl Friendly?
Yes, all our products can be used if you follow the Curly Girl Method.
What's the pH of this leave-in?
